Business Mission Statement

                                                     Business mission statement

 Company mission
Our company is from Ireland and we love Guinness!!! We wanted to make a food that will take great our beer and other alcohol. We started our business in 1919 it first started as a little pub in Dingle Ireland. The population is only 1,920. My father started the pub and then he passed it down to his kids so it’s a family owned recipe.
   Goals
Our goal is let the world taste Irish nachos all over not just in Ireland this salty snack would be great where ever they sell Guinness beer. This salty yummy snack will clench your taste for something to eat while drinking beer. Also potatoes are really big in Ireland. We want to be well known everywhere not just in Ireland. We want to keep our customers happy.

 Functional plan
Our plan is to get the world to love the product and to sell it at bars and clubs. The name will be Taylor’s Irish nachos. It’s easy to be made and the ingredients are found everywhere and every store that has food. We will be making posters and having it on the Internet. To get the word out to the Irish bars first then have other bars that serve food sell it as well

"Of all the depressing abuses of language in business, there is none that gets me so incensed as the rampant overuse of the word 'passionate' in company slogans, marketing blurbs, mission statements and on the sides of vans."

Week 6 Me Times Three

            Me times three
1. Canon camera
2. Samsung cell phone
3. Nike shoes

My Canon camera is my life it will eventually be my career and help me make money to fulfill my dream of taking pictures take photos with my camera everyday for myself and other people and for school without my camera I would be lost and it helps my stress to calm down so I’m not overwhelmed or going crazy when I was little I took a lot of photos I love to be able to take photos and keep the memories. For people and for myself I don’t like not be able to keep people happy.

My Samsung cell phone is like attached to me 24 hours a day because I need it for clients to get a hold of me for their photos. I use my phone for everything I take photos on my phone when I don’t have my camera or it’s the spur of the moment. People call me to ask about when I can do their pictures and when is the best time to contact me for the pictures. So I need my phone and camera for my business that I want to own.

My Nike shoes are the most expensive pair of shoes I own I have had them for a few years and they look brand new till this day I love those shoes and there so comfy and they look good as well. So I only wear them out when I’m doing something fun otherwise I wear my everyday shoes. My mom bought them for me on Christmas but they didn’t have my size so they gave us a discount and mailed them to us and even with the discount it is still the most expensive pair that I own.

Week 5 EOC Social Networks and Job Hunting

Social Networks and Job Hunting

Social networks are actually causing companies die out due to people making more money online with the networks than going out to do the job. Job hunting is really hard so when social networks offer jobs people will go for it and stop hunting when I was searching for a job it took me  months because I didn’t have experience. Well my question is what happen to training and how are we going to get experience if we can’t get the job or get the training for the job. It is so stressful looking for a job and applying one after another. Nowadays all the applications are online. You never meet face to face with a manager so they can tell you yes or no based on your resume and how u act in front of him like if you are respectful or if you dress appropriate. There are people that just get the job over experience they don’t give any chances. So people will take a job that needs no experience. And get training they need to succeed in the jobs. I personally think that jobs should give everyone a fair chance to get a job not because teens and older people can’t get a decent paying job. I make 8.25 an hour and can only work 20 hours a week and my stepmom works everyday except for two days and she gets paid 9.25 a hour it’s not fair that we have good jobs and people at McDonald's get paid 15.00 an hour that’s not fair we work so hard to get paid barley anything and I apply to McDonald's and I get turn down because I have no experience. That’s not fair to us that need and try hard to make money. And social networks are making it a lot easier to find jobs but harder to get them.

"Social media is changing the way we communicate and the way we are perceived, both positively and negatively. Every time you post a photo, or update your status, you are contributing to your own digital footprint and personal brand."
